In July 2025, Grosper signed a 2 TPH steam-flaked corn turnkey solution for a ruminant feeding project in Morocco, following technical alignment around incoming corn conditions, ration structure, capacity planning, and the implementation schedule.

The project followed a verification-first approach. In spring 2025, the customer visited China to review a running reference application—focusing on equipment stability, process controllability, and the evaluation items that can be checked directly on site.

In February 2026, the full equipment set was crated and shipped, moving through Tanger Med as a key logistics milestone toward on-site installation and commissioning.

Steam-flaked corn is often selected when grain supply and pricing fluctuate and the operation needs a more controllable lever than simply increasing corn inclusion. By managing moisture, heat, conditioning time, and roller shear in a repeatable industrial process, steam flaking is designed to improve starch gelatinization and digestibility—supporting more consistent utilization from the same raw material base.
Rather than relying on broad claims, the line is defined around parameter windows and measurable acceptance items agreed before trials. Typical checkpoints include moisture addition strategy (often with warm-water dosing and soak-time tuned to incoming corn moisture), steam conditioning with controlled time/temperature, flaking with roller temperature management, and flake thickness held within a defined range (commonly around 1.2–1.8 mm, with tolerance set by the project). Drying and cooling are configured to reach a storage-ready moisture target and stable finished-product handling.
Grosper’s role stayed delivery-focused: supplying the core flaking equipment package and aligning commissioning readiness items—process alignment, operating checks, documentation preparation, and wear-parts planning—so the site team can validate results with clear methods during startup.
If you’re planning a similar capacity line, align acceptance checks early so commissioning trials confirm performance with data—not impressions. Practical acceptance checks typically include:
Flake thickness range (and tolerance)
Fines rate after screening (sampling rule defined in advance)
Moisture after drying/cooling (storage-readiness target)
Gelatinization verification method (agreed before trials)
Data logging for bulk density and thickness trends
